Murfreesboro's War Memorial honors those who served in WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Iraq, and Korea. It was installed on May 15th, 2011 by the Rutherford County Court House.

The panels, from left to right (excluding middle panel): Korea and Iraq, WWI and WWII, WWII (cont.), Vietnam

The leftmost panel is dedicated to lives lost in Korea and Iraq. The second panel from the left is dedicated to lives lost in WWI and WWII. It reads "These our war dead." The middle panel reads: "Honoring the men and women of Rutherford County who served our country in World Wars One and Two and dedicated to the ever-lasting memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice in those great conflicts for the freedom of all men throughout the world." It features the dates: 1917, 1918, 1941, 1945. The second panel from the right is dedicated to lives lost in WWII. It reads "In honored glory rest." The rightmost panel is dedicated to lives lost in the Vietnam War.

The memorial is decorated with a wooden wreath that reads: "In memory of th(e) fallen war(rio)rs - provided by: Post 16 Bob Brown American Legion"

The two metal plates in the ground read, from left to right: "Vietnam and Korea additions dedicated May 31, 1997 by Bob Brown Post 16 American Legion."
